Sound deaden floor channel - insulate or leave

I wonder if you guys did anything for the bottom channel ,
Did you just leave it? There is some wax stuff and two holes. I thought I'd leave it in case it acts as a breather.

I just left it, think rule of diminishing returns

I did it on mine but only for completeness reasons, otherwise it felt pretty rigid so any vibration here should be minimal.
