Before I get the rear of the van carpeted next month I have been advised to apply sound deadening panels within the various voids behind the panels .Could you give me your advise on a good product to use ? there seem so many products available ranging in price
Any areas that would benefit more by applying the mat maybe

I still plan to take wheels off and arch covers out and do in there too !

I used 4 bloody boxes of the stuff
Cost a fortune
I know there are cheaper things out there to do it, but I wanted the best and i think its made a massive difference, alternatives by some accounts dont stick as well and can be affected by extremes of temperature, im not going in there again i didn't want monsters in my head so just got Dynamat.

I was and have always been concerned about weight too and 4 boxes is well heavy BUT I saved weight else where
Now the conversion is 90 percent complete I've not noticed and difference in power from van or handling I may still put T32 springs in it but that be it !

I've driven a Toyota HiAce daily for 13 years and I'm used to poor handling. poor power and fully it being loaded
T6 is a dream
