Sound deadening with OEM speakers - worth it?

Hi guy's, I'm going to sound deaden my doors, has anybody done this and kept the original speakers in,if so does it make much difference to the sound quality

I have done this and yes it helps, im glad i did it.

Used 2mm silent coat and 12mm dodo mat

Yes I did this to both the doors and the door cards. Sounds like a premium system now and road noise was reduced also.

Yea the dodo stuff then egg box foam behind the speaker …. Really improves audio sound and door thud

Is there anyone out there that would be willing to take my van to bits and help me for the day to completely sound deaden my van head to toe. Obviously they'd be cash involved for the time and effort you've put in. Just an idea. Pm me for details
