Sound Deadening

Hi all

I know its been covered here loads so apologies again as im sure ill repeat myself !

starting to plan sound deadening for inside van.

Silent coat V dynamat

Really much difference ? dynamat is often found twice price !
im all for spending cash if its worth it but dont want my pants pulled down

Im planning to remove outside wheel arch liners and do under there too if people think its wort it

Plan some foam type liner on top for insulation inside too something like Dodo thermoliner

I have used Automute that was really good value for money worth considering.
I read somewhere dynamat was better if you are doing the outside of the rear arches tho.
However the Automute I can definitely recommend,
I got some samples of each and it certainly seemed denser/heavier,
So put 2 boxes into the back of my SWB.

I bought the kit from the sound deadening shop which had Silent Coat and Dodo Mat, both excellent products and easy to use.
Covered roof, sides two sliding doors, rear tailgate and arches part inside and part outside, had some of Dodo mat over but not quite enough of the Silent Coat, 4 sheets short but that was only just because i took it to the level above normal OCD, oh and added lambs wool everywhere as well just for good measure.
