"Sounds like a golf" seals preventing door from shutting

I fitted "Sounds like a golf" seals from THQ today and the passenger door is fine, shuts correctly. But the drivers side i have to slam shut.

Any suggestions? They are both fitted correclty

I can't take a photo as my van is in for a little bit of work to be done, but you need to cut a small gap in the drivers door side one at the point it turns 90 degrees on itself at the bottom corner. It to do with air release.

If you try the drivers door with the passenger door open it should shut ok proving the point.
