Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and just acquired a LWB T32 fully converted I would like to know is there a specific tool for undoing the inspection cover on the onboard fresh water tank, I could use a pair of grips but that would obviously chew up and mark the round plastic screw cap.
I'm not aware of any spanner as such but you could make your own out of ply .
2 pieces cut to fit the finger holes in the cap, a disc to screw these pieces to and a handle of some description to provide the leverage.
Hi, thanks for the swift reply, I'll try that then, do they not make a spanner for this then or once I get it undone, should it only be done up finger tight, also I presume this is where I drop in the sterilizing tablets to clean the tank any advice on this would be appreciated.

Make something simple from wood, you’ll be doing this more than once and a piece of soft wood won’t chew it up.
Put it back in hand tight, it will always be harder ro remove than install due to the O ring.
