These aren't going to shift any more air than the stock VW 6.5" speaker though unless they have 50mm of excursion.

Most speaker swaps where more oomph is extracted from the front door speakers and there is a noticeable improvement in sound quality involve swapping to an 8" speaker.With a much larger cone area and generally lower fs more air is shifted and slightly lower audio frequencies become more apparent.

Hello,. I didn't in the end but did think they might be a better sound quality overall, I still might look into these, but currently diverted my money towards some side bars.
