Sportline towing

Hi there everyone, I am new to the site and was looking for some information if possible.

I am looking at buying a 2018 sportline van 204 Dsg, and it will be used to carry gardening equipment, but also I tow some commercial mowers with a twin wheel for Williams plant trailer and a John Deere tractor.
Total weight is about 2000kg so 2 tonne, would the van be suitable for towing this its only once a week for around 40 miles.
Any answers would be appreciated as real world answers from people that do these things are more important than what a brochure can tell you.

Yes it will tow this fine - my old boat was 2 tonnes and I used to tow it down to the south of France every year. They tow very well.

I have a 150 dsg and it tows fine, very happy with it.

My caravan weighs 1900kg’s and my Kombi 4-Mo DSG tows really nicely.

Kombi’s can tow up to 2500kg (braked).

Hi all thank you so far , also i live in portsmouth are and would like removable towbar fitted ?! As it only has £5k on clock and never towed . Are the sportline lowered a little ?
Anybody else have a sportline and what do you think of it ?

My bus is lowered on B14’s, my caravan and tow hitch line up really nicely, yours should be very similar.
