Sportline tyre pressure 255/45/18

Hi just had my alloys refurbished on my t5.1 sportline 255/45/18. But on the invoice the air pressure says 36 is this ok?

Hi …if that 36 psi it’s a little low …see sticker



I run mine at 3 bar ….

That's what I was thinking a bit low. Just wondered why they only put 36 in them?

Just topped mine up Saturday at my mates tyre place.
45psi all round for me. T32

Cause they want you to run them too low and wear them out quicker …

ps.. if you paid top notch on tyres make sure your tracking gets done….but not by the same tyre fitters…they might get that wrong too

I wanted to get the optimum pressure in the tyres on my golf. It had the usual sticker with a range depending on load etc. I emailed Michelin (as I had their tyres on it) and asked for their advice based on my usual load and the wheel size. They came back within a few days with a lovely email from their technical dept with specific pressures for front and back. I was well chuffed.
