Stance + coilovers

Hi all, about to start looking at fitting the stance+ coilovers and curious as to removing the helper springs on the front? Do these reduce the amount you lower the van by and do they improve ride quality? Not looking to go too far down with ride height, maybe leave 3cm tyre to wheel arch edge. Watched several videos and reviews and all appear to have removed them. Thanks in advance

Helper springs generally are there to allow the main spring to stay secure at full droop ie be MOT compliant. They may add some preload to the spring but I doubt Stance have accounted for that in their development. They are often removed by those who want extra drop but if you're looking for 30mm tyre to arch it sounds like you only want to drop around 60mm so I doubt the helpers will prevent you getting to height required.

I run Stance for about 9 months as was pretty pleased with them for the price. They are a bit soft though on the front so I'd leave them in. Note my Stance kit didn't have helpers, I guess the newer models do.
