Sterling power converter

I have a Sterling Power converter, and after parking up my T6 for 2 days with no use, the fan is still on. The MDU is switched off, fridge is off, and control panel is off. Firstly will this affect the main van battery? Why is it still going, there seems to be nowhere to switch it off? I assume it is draining my leisure battery. Any pointers?

I have a Sterling Power converter

That could be a huge variety of things, as above some pics or more details of what we are actually talking about would be good so we can help

I assume you are referring to a 230v invertor ?
If so model/rating would be handy

Yes,

That is a sterling DC-DC charger.

It charges the leisure battery when the engine is running.... So you saying the fan on it is running all the time?

Are the LEDs lit up all the time?

Got a few pics.of the leisure battery?.

.........

If you wanted to reset that sterling, you would need to disconnect the starter battery and leisure battery for NEG terminals for about 15mins.......then reconnect.(or pull the main fuses in the starter and LB)

Also get a better pic or video clip of the lights on the sterling.

Looks like it's saying.

Input 12.6v starter

Output 13.8v LB

Yes those readings are correct, I will try pulling the fuses to reset as suggested.

Last week when I was hooked up to a mains supply, the Sterling unit was very noisy for 2 days with the fan cutting in and out all the time, enough to wake me up. Then it stopped making any noise, then 4 days later after a 80 mile trip and being left unused the fan is on but more as a background noise?

I think you’ve got 2 different items in your pics.
One is the Sterling B2B charger and the other is some sort of 12v/240v control unit like the Sargent units.
Being connected to EHU should have no effect on the Sterling.
Which of these items has got the fan running?

Ok. It seems very bizarre that the fan activation is related to being connected to EHU as the two things are not interconnected except that the EHU will be charging the leisure battery.
There are some threads on here about the Sterling being noisy etc.
Might be time to swap it out for a fanless B2B charger. There are loads evaluated in @Dellmassive battery thread.

Thanks for that, the whole electrics/ leisure battery etc is very confusing for me.
