Hi guys. I’m currently looking at a t32 the problem I’ve got or wanting to know is can the t32 suspension be swapped out for t30 suspension? What’s involved?

The reason I’m asking as I have a complete air suspension set up which I removed from my last van ideally I’d want another t30 but the one I’m looking at is a t32!!!

Assuming T6 models.

AFAIK T28-T30 is the Same. (Spring strength different on each variety)

But the,

T32 has a different ARB and the larger brake set on the front.

Maybe our trade guys can add something?

As standard, you cannot fit T30 suspension to T32, the hubs are different.

I can’t be 100% sure on other kits, but SoLow air, which we supply and fit, uses the same bags for all vans, with just the front strut attachment being different, so no issue on load rating.

To fit your T30 kit to a T32, the best thing to do is swap the front hubs out and replace with T30, that way, everything will be spot on.

You can get adapter brackets from some companies, but I would swap the hub itself for the safest option.

Cheers for the reply guys yes the easiest option is stick to a t30!!!!

iill see how i get on with looking at the van if i may go down the amarok route so the air kit will be up for sale

So the main difference is just the hubs then and the way the front strut attaches to the hub?

Hi There

ill send you a PM with a solution
Hi, I have a 2017 T6 T32. It was a Kombi, now converted into a camper. Apart from the conversion the van is completely standard.
I find the ride very harsh and unforgiving. What are my options suspension wise for a much more comfortable ride?
I would also like to lower the height by a couple of inches to close the gap between the body and tyres. I have 17” wheels.
Can you help?

You need to be cautious with camper weight, something the entire industry has not addressed properly and ignore from day dot . Had a customer today on his third set of rear springs , all broke on the MOT anniversary . the supplier has taken the last set back as a warranty gesture and supplied a different kit that has just as many issues ??
The reason we have dedicated camper kits now is to stop this happening ,

2 inches is an aggressive drop in suspension terms and needs special attention as well.

We have two options that can do both , drop 50 mm and carry camper weight comfortably , Usual money back guarantee if not blown away !!
