Having recently come back from Switzerland thought others would like to know that since the beginning of August 2023 you can buy a E-Vignette online before you travel. It’s still costs 40 CHF with no admin fees or charges.
You receive an e-mail confirmation with a QR code but it says you are not required to carry a print out in the vehicle. You don’t get a sticker so I assume it’s checked via ANPR?
