Hi everyone
I appreciate loads of threads on the subject of suspension
i have a T30 with lovely 20” wheels
the ride is so walowy, you feel it’s difficult on enjoy on country lanes as it doesn’t handle the best on bends, wife had to sit in back one day and the ride was horrible ( to bouncy) spoke to the people who converted her and they say just change the springs all round to VW t32 springs to give it a bit harder ride, they said if I lowered it the ride then may be to hard.
any recommendations as to the best way to get a more comfy ride without to much bounce
cheers for any help
Phil

The advise from the converters is not useful, please ignore it . Any solution using standard shocks will disappoint.

I wouldn't dream of giving advice on Camper conversions and I wish camper converters would refrain from giving suspension advice , in reality we should stick to what we know ?? . The power of the internet and social media causes plenty head aches as it is , sadly many van owners would rather listen to 10 other van owners on social media than One specialist ha ha .

At CRS we do help lots of people who have bought other products and have issues that they are struggling with. , the after sales service from many suppliers is poor to say the least . I am amazed at how many people don't want to confront suppliers who have supplied goods that aren't fit for purpose too !!! . We removed 2 x B14 kits today that were 90 to 100 mm down and wouldn't go higher . ( almost new ) , They should have been returned to the suppliers it clearly states 40 to 70 mm drops , Not sure what i am missing here !

GARBY You will be delighted with the results once the KONI shocks arrive ,

Thanks for the advise, look forward to August when you get them in, looking at the threads I’m sure it will make a massive difference. Im not percent on changing the springs yet, I might just go with the Koni shocks

CRS; on lightweight kombi (non camper) arnt bilstein B6 or B8s a good product ?, obviously you supply konis due to different design and their quality. But most of us cant probably afford the £600+ price tag of these products when we have outlaid so much already. I know someone who has "listened to others on social media" and here on the Fen roads his van was awful on B14s.......
ps not a critism.

B6 and B8 shocks are the basis of the B14 kit so they will also ride hard , its the technology Bilstein use that is different to KONI and they should be similar price.
Suspension is one area where it can be dangerous to just listen to forum or media jockeys , they arent experts they may like what they have it doesn't mean you will !!
If you are nt blow away we take em back .

Forum jockeys cant give this guarantee

I have a T30 fully converted, got the converter to lower with just springs...big mistake.

Steve@CRS fitted Koni shocks and 40mm lowered, transformed the van, would politely suggest you get Steve to sort it you will not regret it.
