T5 Caravelle, sliding door lock problem. HELP!

Hi I have a Caravelle, the drivers side sliding door is being weird. When I try to slide it shut the lock cam on the door pillar turns straight away and the door won't shut properly. If I force it shut it almost closes but the cam won't then turn to pull the door fully shut. Any ideas? Thanks.
