Ok , so I’m trying to run my Hill descent control wire. Once I have the plug to here, how do I open it to get the wire in pin 8? I have the crimp wire insert. Van in bits on road and I’m baffled at the last step.
T6.1 ???More baffling- I already have a black wire in position 8
but the tricky part was getting the brown block out of the black shroud
Yes, it was available - the Hill descent control button switch is wired to ABS pin 9.In T6.1 ABS pin 8 / black is front left wheel speed sensor as depicted in T6.1 - ABS Wiring Diagram
Not sure if HDC is available?
Yes, the battery and panel next to it comes out, then loosen off the coolant reservoir and move it to the side.Don’t want to hijack this thread, so apologies if I am. But it’s related. I’m trying to install the same on my T6, but I see no simple ish way to extract the ABS plug far enough to get access to insert the new pins. Can anyone provide tips on how to accomplish this? As far as I can see I’m going to be removing loads of stuff in order to get enough access
Ah great, I’m going to give this a try. Thanks a lot. The cable also looks like it’s zip tied in place- this’ll be a real pain to try to get to the ties to cut them. Any pro tips for this?Yes, the battery and panel next to it comes out, then loosen off the coolant reservoir and move it to the side.
