T6.1 door card removal

It's pretty much identical, except the plastic clips that break are slightly different.
Clips are same locations. If you can take a T6 card off you can do the T6.1 Th part of the door that the speaker mounts to is now plastic not steel. And its a nightmare to sound deaden as there are no flat surfaces. Also there doesnt seem to be as much room for foam as in the T6. I need to take my drivers door card off at some point but it wont be this weekend. Not sure how long you can wait for photos.

I found a top tip is when refitting the panel, don't just align up the clips with the holes and push / tap the door trim as the tips if the clips can prematurely compress and break. Offer up the trim, let the tip of the clip start to go in the hole then using a trim remover tool ( a 2 prong tool) gently push the clip into the hole so that the white end clicks in. Fiddle but I've never broken a clip...yet

Sorry to be jumping late into the thread but wondering if someone could let me know if this gap looks to be right?
I’ve had the door card off and back on two or three times but never took note as to how it should be before I removed it!
I feel like the gap is too wide; it would take the thickness of an iPhone .View attachment 240602
Also is anyone able to send me a link for door card clips that fit the T6.1. I ordered some from Veedub transformers, but they were about 5mm longer than the one I broke!

I have got to the same position. Did you find an answer? I think that the clips haven’t engaged correctly. A post above has a tip about using a trim tool to persuade them to pop in properly. As soon as it stops raining I am going to have another go.
You’re absolutely right @Forestgrump - having spent a bit more time on it, the retaining clips had located but not seated correctly. If you’ve got a panel removal tool I managed to slide that in and ‘press’ the clips into place and it pulled it up much closer.
