T6.1 Factory LED headlights…no headlight washers

Hi All, my previous two vans were T6’s with factory LEDs. Both had washers that popped up from the bumper to wash the headlights.

My new van, a T6.1 also has factory LED’s but I can’t see anywhere the washers could pop up from.

I thought you had to have washers with LED lights?

Hopefully it’s fine, because there’s a couple of other oddities with this van - like the order sheet says rear 2+1 yet there’s a single 3 seat bench in there. Equally the V5 says six seats and it’s a single captain seat set up from the factory.

Hopefully they’ve not forgotten something!

My Tig has IQ LED headlights and no washers. Washers are required if the light output is more than (from memory) 2000 lumens. Maybe with modern LED headlights, they are better at distributing light without needing to be as powerful.

Id be pissed about a bench instead of a 2/1 and they don't need headlight washers due to the lumen levels. I wouldnt personally stress about the v5 so long as no issues with your insurance know it is 5.

I would also have preferred a 2+1 but I’m the second owner. The older feller I bought it from didn’t seem to notice this until I pointed it out - it cost him something like 570quid extra on the options sheet!
