After getting stuck I went to locate the front tow connector on my T6.1 - It is not at all obvious, so thought I would post a picture of where it is located.
After removing the cover with the hook tool, you need to screw the tow connector into the hole - It is a left hand thread. These bits are in the tool kit with the jack.
IMO it is worth checking this BEFORE you need it !
