Afternoon all just having my windscreen replaced and have been offered the upgrade to a heated screen.

What other items do I need to this sorted and anyone one here have the capacity to install it?

Heated screen is the 1 option that I kick myself for not ticking when I ordered my van, especially as we go into Autumn/Winter the steamed up screen drives me bonkers

I know what you mean. I'd love to get this sorted pending the cost of the loom and fitting etc. The glass i can pick up for little money

You just need loom and dash switch that fits on the top row in switch panel on the right. Relay fits in engine compartment relay holder and loom runs to engine bay fusebox and one wire to BCM.
You could possibly also get away without fitting physical switch if you have discover media that you could add switch for it on screen too. But I havent tested that yet.

Yes, indeed. The on-screen button appears to react as a switch, but it doesn't actually do anything. Just don't ask me how I found that out!

Funny that! I had a chat with @Dav-Tec at Busfest about doing this for my van! Even better, I’ve already secured approval from SWMBO on doing this upgrade!
