T6.1 Interior Light Wires. Help please.

Hi all. I’m really hoping someone can help.

I’m looking to tap into the wires connecting to the front interior light wires so need to find the negative and the switched live to when I unlock my light will come on/visa versa.
Does anyone know what each wire is please?

I hoping this will work as I tapped into the 2 wires in the rear light for puddle lights along a side bar and they burnt out.In thinking by connecting before the main LED interior light cluster it will work. Any advance is greatly appreciated.

Perhaps you could steal the wiring colour scheme from footwell lights - I guess brown/white and red/black would do the job?

I’ve got VIP now and the docs. Very useful. Idea what these abbreviations are?

On the diagram the wire colouring is marked with the abbreviations. E.g. br/ws = brown/white or rt/ws = red/white.

Oh, almost missed the question. It seems brown/white is switched negative and red/black is switched (by BCM) positive (+12V).

It will be switched -ve too, not switched +ve
