T6.1 "Modified Van" (Day Van?) insurance

Lots of threads on Campers, but who can you recommend for a modified van insurance?

I note for example that Comfort Insurance will only insure full camper conversions: "Bed Conversion" or "fixed sink and cooking station" examples only.

My van is a T6.1 Kombi professionally modified with pop-top, air-ride, re-trimmed/sound deadened/re-upholstered, diesel heater, new head unit/amp/speakers, alloys and minor cosmetics, arguably a "Day Van", definitely modified but definitely not a Camper or Camper conversion. Is there a reputable and experienced insurer who might cover this type of conversion that anyone can recommend please?

I have similar to you with my T6.1 and I’m insured with Brentacre no problems with modifications at all.
In Dec 21 after only being insured with them for a month I had a my fault accident and they paid out with no quibbles.

Howden are great for modified vans. Quote The Van Cave for an extra discount.
