T6.1 Sportline black edition - release date

Hi,

Just ordered a sportline black edition but haven't been given a delivery date yet. Wondered if anyone else has been given a date?

I ordered a new Sportline back in April. The dealers said expect it to arrive Jan/Feb, but they would contact me when they knew a definite delivery date.
As production of the new model won't be until August it gives me a bit more time to save up.

It's a special edition, so it's not on the configurator.

You have to go into the dealer, they also have more options on their system. I’ve added 80 litre tank, Active Lane assist, cab carpet and heated washer nozzles.

A 4motion option would have been good but it’s hard to justify what I’ve already spent on a panel van. Probably will keep this one and eventually put a rear seat in.

Good question that only VW will know. Ordered mine 5 weeks ago still haven’t heard a thing since paying my £500 to the dealer.

Mine should be here by nov so I'm told. opted for the heated nozzles and cab carpet. Gutted 4motion wasn't an option

You can get a LWB sportline but not sure if barn doors are an option

Thanks mate. Sold my old T5 2 years ago and now leasing a Transit custom till next April as wanted to see what was coming out.
Need to start looking now really due to extended build dates!
