Not noticed any of that .... Although was not long till I had sport-line seat covers on ...I would be back @ dealers.

So since my last message, I’ve got huge issues with the seats! So bad in fact I’ve had the converters from Wales come out of fit a whole new set. The new set is worse than the original set!!!!! I Have had loose stitching I found two tears in the leather! Lots of issues from the back bench. Now with a new set of seats I have Loose stitching And the general shape of things is not good

Picked mine up on Saturday, still getting used to the ride and needs some weight in the back. Really pleased with it. Will upload some more pics. Nice little surprise in the load area though I don’t wanna spoil any surprises for anyone!
I have lots of photos to worse parts… dealer is sorting it! I did not pay £55k for a kombi that has seats like this! The brand manager is supposed to be sorting it.
The converters drove 3 hours to me, I know it will be sorted as it’s gone to the top. They said the seats went through quality control, as they are made by a different department. But obviously they don’t check them well!
That is shocking !
i have been in touch with my dealer, warranty people are not prepared to repair the baggy, misshaped seats and will only repair the ones with stitching coming apart. I like you are not prepared to pay all that money for a van with defects. I have a kombi van and all my seats are bad. If they don’t fix it then the van will be going back. I reported it within 30 days of purchase so I have the right to reject the vehicle.

This is what happens when VW farm out upholstery to a generic part fitter and not a specialist.
I’d be absolutely seething if my upholstery ended up looking like that.
There’s a reason why upholstery is usually done by artisan specialists, it’s not something you can do properly unless you have the time-served skills.

Mine has been on order for 20 months, Im told they are building 1 a month and dont even have a build date, rep said could be another 2 years!!!
