T6.1 upgrades - headlight bulbs & horn

The headlights on my T6.1 are woeful! Need to upgrade the bulbs ASAP! I was going to spec LED headlamps when I ordered, but couldn't because I wanted a tailgate! Not got a clue why!! So any recommendations for a bulb upgrade?

Also, I had to use my horn the other day after I was nearly side swiped on the motorway. When I blasted the horn at him all I got was a little toot toot, which left my suitably embarrassed! I think Brum had a more aggressive horn! So again, any recommendations for a horn upgrade without going to airhorns!!

Tommy, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I have a 6.1 with a tailgate and LED fronts and rears. Basically you can have led fronts but MUST have led tails if you specify a tailgate...
I agree about the horn though, compared to the 6 its a poxy squeak!!
Let me know what you sort with it.

I think because mines a startline, that's the issue. Everytime I specced a tailgate and then added LEDs it said it wasn't a possible selection and one had to be removed! Will just have to wait for THQ to bring out some nice upgrades!

Yeah I'll try and keep posted if I find a replacement horn!!

Made a significant difference to my T6 H4s, and have now put them in my H7s.

It sounds like the twin tone air horn on Mike Lowry’s Ferarri on Bad Boys 2.

Had one on our Landcruiser, its a compact air horn, very loud.

also looking into upgrading the bulbs, want more of a white/blueish tint

i've got standard t6.1 headlights, the bulbs are H7 i guess?

can't really seem to find any info regarding the bulbs in the manual

Osram now have a road legal LED H7 but no idea if it gives errors, flickers or if its any better than the original.
It claims 19watt usage, 6k colour and 1500lm. Tempted to try it out but can't find a supplier in the UK.

They have different part numbers pal and the road legal ones are called NightBreakers (64210DWNB) as opposed to LEDriving (67210CW).
