SWB Caravelle Exec in fantastic condition with low mileage and everything working as it should.
It's a unique bus - I've looked after it meticulously (foam, wax and polish once a month) and modified (by Bognor Motor Vehicles, the best dub specialist on the South Coast) to get the ride just right.
With a Revo Stage 1 tune it pulls effortlessly with an increased BHP to circa 240. With 225/65 General Grabbers on 17" Fuel Zephyrs, mounted on STX coilovers, it sticks to the road in the corners and roundabouts, whilst smoothing out rough roads.
The front speakers have been upgraded to Audisons and the front doors sound-deadened. All rear windows are tinted limo-black, perfect for changing clothes at the beach or after a rainy/muddy walk. The chrome is still in great condition, but hidden under a gloss black wrap. Aside being on the adjustable STX shocks, black tube sidebars help give the bus a more aggressive stance as well as the front and rear spoilers. To protect the rear end is a carbon fibre-styled boot-lip protector. Thrown in to complete the look are some nearly new Thule WingBar roof bars that you can't hear and offer a discreet, yet practical way to carry stuff up top.
The VW optional extras are plentiful too: Adaptive Cruise Control; Rear camera and front/rear sensors; Heated and power adjustable/folding wing mirrors, Digital Voice Enhancement (to speak to the little people in the back); Starlight Blue Paint (moody under a cloudy sky, but sparkles in the sun); App-Connect; 6.3" media screen; headlight washers; LED headlights. It's been driven carefully with a good mix of long journeys.
Servicing has been done by VW. It's a reluctant sale. It's a great van, but as you can tell from the mileage, just not getting the use it deserves. It's a gem of a 'velle with a great reg. plate. (Mileage will go up ever so slightly through rare, careful use)
