In the last few days I have been getting a clicking noise (like a relay switching on and off) from the drivers door, only when in motion. Seems to be worse on rougher roads. No faults showing in Carister. Any ideas?

Check the fit between the A pillar trim and the dash.
I was chasing what sounded like a loose connector block rattling behind the head light switch until I read in another thread that a lot of drivers area noises are due to this, and to my surprise it was.

When it happens, it makes a click every second or two, but today it was quiet!
I think the suggestion of plastics rubbing together is the likely cause.

Possible actions to narrow it down:
- Remove everything from the door pockets
- Switch off head unit
- Switch off any other amps etc
- Leave your mobile phone at home
- Keep the window fully up
- Remove the door card and check all the fixings are good, properly locate and are not broken.
- Check the big metal plate that bolts on is tight.
