T6 - Climate Control - Upgrade Semi-Automatic to Fully Automatic ?

With the weather as cold as it is at the moment, I’m trying to think about the summer, and one thing I had in the back of my mind is the climate aspect in my new T6, and what options I have to improve it..

Now, I understand there are a number of different configurations of climate control dashboard units, from the fully manual to a semi-automatic to fully automatic, (with heated seats etc) and there are a few discussions in the forums around this - Heater Control Upgrade Question being one good example..

To help put it into perspective for me - I have this ‘semi-automatic’ one currently, and was wondering what the effort would be to move to a fully automatic one..

As most of the posts were a few years back, I’m curious to hear of any experience in the forum that have done this, and made the effort to move to the fully automatic one, like this below (but appreciate there are many variations and i can live without certain buttons/options if it makes it easier..) ?

To add to this, I have upgrade the standard stereo to a Alpine Halo 9, which provides the ability to control and gives you a visual display too for the automatic climate systems, (I don’t believe semi/manual are supported) - so there is some incentive to benefit from that too :)

Super keen to hear how you get on. I'd like to be able to start the climate control before I drive off in the morning but I suspect this is only possible with an after market system as the car cannot automatically start etc?
