Newish van, all buttons&switches, second hand came with no manual for power supply. Also has solar panel.
Does anyone have an (edeceo) inverter with a remote switch?
I understand what to do when camping wild and want to use inverter......I move the 2 mains plugs over to inverter sockets, switch inverter on under driver seat, then press button on inverter remote (situated above microwave.)
But....I have a couple of questions about hooking up to mains power.
With inverter under driver seat switched OFF and checking that 2 mains plugs are in mains sockets, the microwave will not work until I press button on inverter remote which then turns ON.
I do this even though the inverter itself under driver seat is switched OFF.
I am confused as not sure if advisable to activate inverter(via remote) while on mains power with hookup.
Sorry for being so thick. It's all new.
Thankyou in advance.

Right, I doubt I'll be able to answer your questions or help in any great way, but I can almost guarantee that the guys/girls on here with the know-how will want pictures and more info!

Inverter type/model number
Microwave type/location
Battery type/location
Charging install

Plus as many pictures (sharp in focus ones) of your kit and a detailed step-by-step as to what happens in each scenario you describe above.

Try to identify the exact model of inverter you have and use that to search online for an owners manual. This is usually possible through the manufacturers website. Even if someone on here can help you, it’s still useful to have the proper manual.

I have a different make inverter, but also with a remote switch. However, my inverter (hidden in a unit) is wired to just one mains socket that is totally separate to any EHU powered sockets. I can only use that socket when the inverter is switched on. My inverter also doesn’t get switched on/off on the unit itself, only via the remote (strictly speaking, its a wired remote that is fixed near the inverter socket).
