T6 side door locking problem

The problem is the passenger side door does not allway open first time with remote some times you have to
press the unlock button three time to get it to open, is it a electrical problem or mechanical ?? I think it could be mechanical
the lock needs to be cleaned and oiled ?

Hi, mine used to do this. The button would get stuck on the housing. I took the door panel off and the rod was bent slightly out of position. Quick bend and a lube up and it's been perfect ever since.
