Table In Kombi

I have a 2019 Kombi and have swivel seats fitted in front. It's the 1+1 configuration of seats in the front. I have one of those Lagun swivel table legs and table top.
I don't like the normal fitting location of on the sliding door frame on the left side of the van.

Has anybody found a way to fit the table leg to the metal part of the passenger seat base and have it locate fairly central to all the seats including the driver seat when it swivels?

Haven’t done it myself but you should be able to mount the mounting plate on the inner side of the passenger seat base, just check you’ve got enough space for the clamp handle before drilling any holes. Alternatively you could fit something between the two seat bases and then attach the mounting plate to that

I use a fold up table when I swivel seats around,it’s canny but not perfect as a bit small. Keep thinking about a swivel table and modify it so table top folds out again to gave a longer table top with some sort of fold out leg to stop it sagging, just need to get on and try to make one keep looking thinking someone might have made a similar idea

I'm the same currently but have that Lagun table there from previous van and trying to find some way to neatly connect it to the base and get the arm for it positioned correctly so I can attached the table top. I might need another arm to come out from the base along the floor first and then up from there to the table top. Was hoping somebody else had done similar so I could copy. :)

Fitting something between the seat bases might work and have it hinged so it can flip down when the table is not connected.
