Does anyone have a blanking plate on theirs?
Is there something to cover this?
I am guessing the answer to this may be the same as the answer to my previous question....

Yes and yes
I can get the front trim plate but will need to look up the price for you when I’m home later, the rear holes do have a plastic blank plate over them normally (do in my Kombi) as it hides the tailgate hinge bolts

Definately got covers over the access port to the tailgate hinges in my Kombi.

Maybe what’s needed is someone with those blanking plates to confirm the part number?
But based on your diagram it looks pretty likely that they are right

Yes my Kombi has blanking plates i removed them last week for carpet fitting number on back 7H0 817 064 A

Resurrecting an old thread here, but I have created a 3D model for the tailgate hinge blanking plate. I have also added a version with a 19mm hole for a momentary push button for the tailgate release retrofit.

HI, new to this - can anyone help with what these gaps may be called or if covers are available for them ? ( I have a T6 tailgate with two holes I would like to cover before carpeting)

Those are the access holes to get to the hinge bolts. There are covers available for them, think they come as standard on a kombi but not a PV. If you can't get any just put some duct tape over before carpeting.

The holes are to access the tailgate hinge bolts and yes there are plastic plugs for them. The ones that I have purchased in the past have part number 7H0 817 064 A on them but I can't find it in any internet parts list at present. There may be colour options.
