I’ve been told a few times by different people that it toggles Siri if you have an iPhone. Doesn’t seem to do jack in mine though? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As already mentioned, it works with app connect when you press and hold the button.

I use it with Android Auto via app connect with no problems like this.

Don't know about Apple things....

Do you have app connect/car play (which is a factory extra ) ?
If you don’t then that may explain it
