Hello folks. Some advice needed from someone who knows windows.
I've had my side window smashed in. It's a tinted sliding one from camper glass. The problem is I'm in Italy, and I'm fairly sure this window will take ages to arrive from the UK as they don't have European stockists. My window boxing and sill are made to fit this model window specifically (sill goes right up to the slider and has a little bit cut for the sliding mechanism), so an OEM VW sliding window will not fit. I'm OK with getting a non sliding window for now until getting back to the UK, so can someone please confirm that an OEM right hand side middle window is purely a piece of glass with no protrusions to the interior?
