I’ve got a double front swivel on a kiravans base.
the seating position is horrendous, high, upright, knees touching the dash and head touching the roof for anyone 6ft plus....
Is there any resolution to this?
can the base of this dibble be modified so it still fits the swivel.
Thanks

Vankraft do a lowered seat base:

Pete

@Niknak does a modified shortened base a bit cheaper, check out the for sale section

you can also get a modified seat hinge that allows the back to recline slightly more to improve comfort

Not making anymore too many people putting their ore in regarding things they don’t know, I did make these to help people on the same boat as I was not to make money anyone with fabrication experience would realise the time that they take compared to the price was not profitable, but as I’ve discovered talentless people always spoil things for others,

Such a pity!

Your version was stronger than other “crash tested” versions yet still kept the original lines and styling. However, there is a massive distinction between an engineer demonstrating his craft for little profit to help forum members compared to an engineer demonstrating his craft and still having to deal with whinging tyre-kickers masquerading as buyers!

I have observed some of these snivelling knobs whinge that they’d want a battery-powered (rechargeable at that) shower in a bucket unit to have an in-line instantaneous water heating element as well. Honestly, these types wear slip-on shoes as they can’t cope with doing up their own shoelaces and probably seek assistance when wiping their own arse!

Thank you, not to worry mate I’m glad I’ve made ones for people that appreciate them and for my own camper, shame that simple physics elude some people reducing the height of something tappered increases its width earlier I’ll just enjoy the ease of rotating mine and everyone else can just swivel
