Only beep on lock mate, no one has beep on unlock.

Have mine on both lock and unlock, know if its locked as walking away without having to check the lights flash and when the tailgate is shut properly and if I accidentally unlock with the keys in my pocket, (done this a few times!)

I think the problem with mine is "Press twice to unlock passenger side". That's a full 4 beep frenzy.

Now I've got carista I can pick what I want. Still grateful to @BiTurbo for auto locking. That's a nice touch as I live in Beirut.

I turned mine to beep on the touran and got a little annoyed at it.

I considered turning it off but then one day I was hearing the beep, found that my 2 year old had the key and was as the window locking and unlocking it.

If I hadn't heard it I'd possibly have lost the keys into one of his toy boxes for weeks

I only use the beep to lock. Really handy when you can't actually see the car / lights but can rest assured it's locked as you can hear it. I also don't get in / out of by bus "Buss" 10x a day so it's not annoyed me yet and I've had it activated for over 6 months now.

Last campsite I visited, had a neighbour with a vivaro camper, holy smokes the swish was like Niagara Falls.... and the bang was like a grenade.
