I've recently had my seats retrimmed by The TrimGuru: Home

They are based in Coventry doing work for the local VW van centres, and specialist converters as well as a growing number of private users like myself. They are an offshoot of a well established business, with lots of experience in transport upholstery.

They couldn't be more helpful, from my first contact to dropping me and picking me up from the Station. I would definitely recommend them.

I've posted pictures, I went 'classic' black with white stitching, as well as having heater elements put in the front. They have so many colours and designs to think about it's actually difficult to make a decision.

I'm really happy with mine!!

Are they covers or full re-trim, dare I ask the cost

Full retrim all leather on 5 individual seats, map pockets on backs of front seats, additional headrest trimmed, heating elements in fronts, GTI Cushion covers. All for £1300.

I just scratched the surface of what they can do. Definitely worth a call !

Oh, then I got them to give my office chair the GTI look

We are quite local to these guys (don't know them personally though) and we have seen a few of their conversions now, all look the business and owners are more than happy.

they look great! So, have I got this right.......you've now got heated seats? Does it look original......same switch etc??

So it's not the original switches, as that means a new A/C control unit. Neat little switches on the sides of the seats. Will stick a photo on when it stops raining!

Not the greatest picture but hopefully gives you the idea? Had them put on the inside of the seat so I can turn the passenger seat off in the highly unlikely event that someone forgets!

We have used these in our panel van and they heat up better than the factory set up in the kombi

Well a little light comes on when you turn them on....either seat only or seat and back in a different colour.
