Thule 9708 anyone?

Anyone use one of these.
A lot cheaper / less sturdy compared to others, but for me its just for occasional use.

Says tiltable? Can one still get tailgate open with bikes on?

In the video it folds to 90°, so will be well clear or the tailgate. However the outer bike will be on the floor and the angle of the ground will dictate how much you can lower the carrier.

Yeah saw that, but wanted to know members experiences.

Tail end of this video kind of shows it would work. Just not as easy as the 5-600 quid ones.

I guess it depends how precious you are about your bikes. They are essentially hanging from the top tubes and swinging around in close contact with each other.

9708 Well it didn"t bode well. Sturdy carrier; well built. Really tilts 90degrees with bikes on. Not difficult to tilt.

But cannot open tailgate!!!!
