Hi folks
I had my timing belt done at 69k only 14 months ago, recently I have had issues with faulty gauges and lumpy starts.
The censors that were faulty have been replaced but the diagnostic report said the timing was off by 0.1 of a second.
They said this is normal as the belt can stretch with time. There is no engine damage and the van starts 6 times out of 7, first time, the seventh time it can take several.attempts.
The garage who did the timing have been supportive and will try and have the timing kit replaced under warranty.
I will however still have to pay for the labour.
Has anyone else had or know someone who has had an issue like this?
