Touchscreen Not Accepting Input

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help.

My touchscreen has stopped accepting inputs. 10 second power button hold down gives no joy. Tried to contact dealer near me (Lookers Van Centre Glasgow Baillieston) who said next opening for warranty work was late November.

Don’t suppose anyone and any advice on how to fix? It’s a 72 plate so under warranty but would rather not wait that long without the system working.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, it sounds like might have a touchscreen fault. It's very common. Have a search on here there are a few threads on how to replace.
I did mine and it was easier that I thought.
As you are under warranty though I would let vw deal with it.......new stereo time

Yeah think that’s defo the case. Was hoping for some ninja “turn key back and forward, open passenger door, turn around 4 times and spit” wisdom just to save me the delay. ‍
