TOW BAR AND UNDERSLUNG FRESH WATER TANK

Looking to buy a SWB Vivante which has an underslung fresh water tank. Would that make having a tow bar fitted difficult?impossible?

Thanks in advance

Hi there. I wouldn't have though an issue. The tow bar is essentially in and under the bumper, and I would have thought any underslung tank would not extend that far.

Is it from Leisuredrive themselves or second hand? Possibly worth asking LD.

Thanks, CAB. Been down to LD this morning and bought a second hand Vivante. LD confirmed your advice. We had an Autosleeper Trident for years but grew out of the Rock and Roll bed. We changed to the small coach build Nuevo 4 years ago but although it was spacious and comfortable we never really took to it and sold it privately earlier this year. The tow bar will allow us to use our small trailer (when we want) and take our old driveway awning, minimising any storage worries when pitched up.

Hi. Just a quick tip - if you want to call-out to a fellow forum member, put an @ before their username (like this: @Jetty) and, that way, they'll be notified of your post.
