My van has a PFjones intergrated wiring kit and it's been fine for 18months.
I brought a brand new Brian James car trailer and decided to change the side marker bulbs to LED ones (cheap from China). After about 30mins, both LED bulbs had blown. I replace them quickly with the original bulbs and the LH side was all working, but the RH side I lost all lights.
I found under the bonnet 4 fuses. One fuse had blown so I replaced it, and it only lasted a few minutes before blowing again.
I took the tailer back to have the light checked and they found no fault. All the light (original bulbs) were working fine on their rig and another car.
I've checked the socket and it all looks fine. No burning marks or any corrosion.
Any ideas what to check to stop this fuse blowing. Could the faulty chinese led bulbs damage the trailer module.
VCDS shows no faults.
