Towbar Dash Display

Hi there, new to forum and have recently bought a 2017 T6 204 highlife dsg without towbar prep. Had a towbar fitted by PF Jones including the additional wiring needed etc. All fine but I was expecting to see the little green 1 with two arrows to appear on dashboard when I use the indicators. Just spoke to guy who fitted it and he said he thought the Transporter may not be set up with this. Does anyone know? The trailer lights work fine, and the rear parking sensors are disabled when trailer is connected, so all seems to work fine apart from the dash indicator...

There is no trailer tell tale light on the dash. If a bulb fails you'll get a warning on the dash.

Happy towing. Have a go with the manual box settings rather than leaving it in auto all the while, the engine loves low revs and I think the DSG holds onto the gears too long.
