TPMS Alerts but no pressure loss

For the last year i keep getting alerts for 2 tyres

I keep resetting the TPMS via the dash to clear the alerts

I’ve checked both tyres and neither have lost any pressure..I’ve done this about a dozen times now to be 100% sure

It’s always the same two tyres

what wise could I try ?

Could be a simple update would reset the system or faulty sensors but for two to go at the same time would be odd.

T6 or 6.1?

Pretty sure they have different systems, T6 uses the abs wheel speed sensors and tyre rotation, where T6.1 uses actual pressure sensors in the valves.

That’s what i was thinking so more likely another issue ..my tyres and wheels have been swapped for 275/40/20 does something need to be updated or changed to support the new wheels and tyres

New data needs saving on TPMS when you change tyres.

Ah that'll be it - you need to go into the mfd and set tyre pressures. Simple as that. Because you've changed wheels, the sensors are seeing a different radius to what they expect so that gives an error. Same as if you had an under or over inflated tyre.

The setting is in the MFD, under the setting page, should be fairly obvious from there. Once you've set it, and gone for a drive, it should work correctly again.

Double check the tread depths on the same axle aren't massively different to each other.

Also make sure they are both the same size tyres too.

yes that’s what i’ve done a dozen or so times, when I get an alert on the dash, I go into the MFD when stationary and it allows me to set tyre pressure..that clears the alert but once I start driving it comes back ..despite no tyre pressure being lost
