Does anyone know a good place to go get my tracking done. I’m in The Wirral, Merseyside area and would like it done this week (travel back to Ireland next Monday)
Van is a 6.1 LWB on twin adjust projekt coilovers. Been on about 2 years. Lowered around 80mm.
Couple of months ago I had a steering arm replaced by my local VW. Tracking was done but steering wheel was not centred. Told them, they booked it in again (not without trying to use the excuse of the van being lowered etc as to why it was ‘tricky’ to track the vehicle). Van came back. Steering wheel was worse! Was booked in the following week for a small unrelated job. Asked them to ‘straighten the steering wheel’ same time. Got van back. Other job fixed but not the steering wheel.
I’m a tradesman so haven’t got the time to keep challenging them, and booking it in for the morning or whatever. Plus seems they’re not great at this kinda thing.
Also noticed my front right tire is wearing greater on the inside.
So any recommendations for good wheel alignment place (preferably on The Wirral area but don’t mind venturing further) that is sympathetic to a lowered transporter
Thanks
Adam
