Transporting Solar Panels in Pop Top

Hi
I have a 4 panel array 200w Bluetti solar panel that we use in conjunction with an AC70 Power station. The panels take up quite a bit of space when folded flat, might seem a daft question but is there any reason why I should not store the panels opened out flat between the pop top roof and roof bed when not in use?

All depends on your roof & how much space there is between the underside of the roof & the bed. We keep our window blinds & internal poptop liner “upstairs” and it works ok. You have to make sure that there aren’t any high spots, otherwise it will kick up the rear of the poptop & it won’t sit properly when lowered. Ours is a Reimo roof & bed.

Thanks, our has a SCA pop top, even with the mattress in position I'm pretty sure there is enough height, I wanted to place the solar panels on top of the mattress with maybe just a blanket to cover. Just wondered if the panels were likely to get damaged knocking against the roof when on a bumpy road/speed bumps etc.

Have you tested this concept yet?
