Hi,
I am looking at replacing my standard Trendline steering wheel 2017 T6 (66 reg) which has no multifunction buttons to a flat bottom wheel taken from a Seat Leon 2017, from what I’ve read the original airbag will fit ok, and the cruise is on a stick that’s why I’m looking at this type of wheel.

My question is, what will I have to do to make the multifunction buttons work, I understand it will need programming but what extra wiring will i need and where can I purchase, are the MF buttons compatible with my T6.

Below is a picture of the type of wheel I’m looking at purchasing.

The buttons won't work. Seat Leon's electronics are based on MQB architecture. T6 is using older PQ25 electronics. The components are not interchangeable.

Thanks mmi, what wheels would you suggest that I look out for that are flat bottom?

Also I'm sure @Dav-Tec can help.

I am very happy with my T6 Caravelle steering wheel but if I could add heating, it would make me very popular with the Mrs. She suffers with very cold finger tips and usually wears gloves.
