Underseat sub and existing electrical ancillaries?

After having them on my garage shelf for literally years, I finally fitted some Rainbow 8.2's that I bought for my van back in 2018.....pretty slack I know.

I have the Rainbow's running off the existing head unit and they are ok, but I feel they could do with more power, so I have started looking at lower and mid-price amps, and contemplating whether an underseat sub would help further.
My van is literally a working van so just the cab to consider, I've sound deadened it lots, doors, bulkheads and much of the rear. If I buy an amp, as I will be using high level inputs and output to the front speakers, the spare pair of 4 channels could be used to drive a sub.

I had a quick look today under the driver seat as I have a leisure battery under the passenger one and was surprised to see various electrical gubbins, for example the factory towbar module and brackets etc. What do you normally do with this stuff if using an underseat sub.

Pic before I hoovered :(

I left my 'gubbins' there on my passenger side and fitted the sub in a way that missed them.

If not the usual trick is to take the fuse and coupling blocks out of the mountings and tuck them into the wiring channels under the carpet - there are two from the dash either side of where a transmission tunnel would be and one across the van between the 2 seats.

If you can mount to avoid doing that it's easier to service the electrics though, if you need a little more room move the loom coupling blocks first as you are more likely to need to get to the fuses.

Ah ok, those channels are where I get cables from the dash to the sub as well then I assume, seats and carpet out I expect? Any guides you know of?

Our sub enclosure will fit in that space , no problems with just a few easy mods. And can supply a easy to install compact digital amp to drive the fronts and sub, and it even comes with a small sub control

Perfect, can you give me a quote please with a couple of options, supply only. 10" sub with your enclosure and an amp to suit.
