Undertray upgrade

Common theme but I'm fed up of puddles ripping of the plastic under tray. I need to replace both the fuel tank and adblue tank undertrays. I found this online. Would this be the answer do you think? Would one of these skid plates on each side fit do you think? I was looking for a specific adblue tank skid tray but can't find anything so I'm thinking 2 of these on either side. It says they bolt in, I am guessing they bolt in to the metal holes under the van rather than the other plastic trim....

I made my own for a Citroen Saxo years ago (don't laugh), admittedly it was only 3mm aluminum so far easier to shape.
That website lists it as 6mm but they still look kinda expensive to me. But then how much are the plastic replacements from VW?! I've read some people have changed them multiple times...
I'm new to the Transporter world and haven't even drove through a puddle yet, but if the worst was to happen I'd like to think I can still shape a bit of 5mm ally, its only about £100 per sq M last I looked.
