Not right now but I like to plan ahead. I may in the future buy a Lazer LED Lamp but not one of the more usual varieties but one of the longer smart versions. That may well take up the entire width between the LED Head Lamps I may like to fit it into the upper grill for some small security, however the VW emblem will be in the way and takes up far too much space to be just cut out. I would therefore propose to change the grill to a plain badge-less upper grill. Are all T6 upper grills the same size and fitting. Are all suppliers suppliers versions the same?

If it was not possible to mount the lamp within the grill then I would I suppose I could mount it on brackets in front of the upper grill. Security from petty theft is very good good here unless it is a sheep. Ewes and quad bikes are a target for organised crime. However the vehicle does get moved around and I may like to remove the lamp temporarily when visiting more populated areas. I guess I could mount it on the roof but currently have no structure, bars or rails. I have no idea if that is considered any more secure than any where else on the vehicle. If it was here all the time then a permanent solution would be best. I know some of these lamps are coded but do the opportunist petty thief’s know this?:)

I changed my Caravelle grille for a Highline one to chop up for the Lazers, so yes, they are all the same fitment wise. Aftermarket grilles may well have different slats, so the Lazer fittings might not be compatible tho'.

If you want a single bar, I'd cut a hole in a badgeless grille and mount the lamps to a new structure behind.

Ah, thank you for that information. I doubt that their is a fitting kit for the Lamps I am interested in but one never knows. early days. Lazer lamps appear to be changing some of their lamps to different designs perhaps because some of the EU rules might be slightly different concerning single lamps so I may wait a little to see what is going on.
